"The cardiac cycle is coordinated by a specialized conduction system. Each heartbeat normally begins in the sinoatrial (SA) node, a group of cells in the wall of the right atrium that acts as the natural pacemaker. The electrical impulse spreads across both atria, causing them to contract. It then reaches the atrioventricular (AV) node, which slows the impulse for about a tenth of a second. This delay allows the atria to finish emptying blood into the ventricles before the ventricles contract. From the AV node, the impulse travels through the bundle of His, which divides into right and left bundle branches running along the interventricular septum. Finally, the impulse spreads through the Purkinje fibers to the ventricular muscle, and the ventricles contract from the apex upwards, pushing blood into the pulmonary trunk and the aorta."

Resposta correta: alternativa E
💡 Explicação
A alternativa E está correta e acompanha os marcadores de sequência do texto: 'begins in the sinoatrial (SA) node', 'spreads across both atria', 'It then reaches the atrioventricular (AV) node', 'From the AV node... bundle of His' e 'Finally... Purkinje fibers to the ventricular muscle'. A B põe o feixe de His antes do nó AV.
